We have created large natural vignettes and free standing displays with 24’ to 18’ tall trees as well as a 20’ x 10’ long woven veneer wall. With a crew of 6 working tirelessly over the past few weeks we are well on our way to creating one of our most spectacular installations to date. Check back for completion photos!

While the boss was out of town in November we decided to surprise her and redo the office. We all got together after work, ordered pizza and spent the night painting away. We said goodbye to the dark red wall and hello to our new, fresh look! Now, the office wall matches our new corporate image, black with a slick green stripe!

An orange maple tree is displayed for this autumn wedding reception.This head table has been framed with whimsical spiral topiaries and a sandstone arch dressed with mini lights and wisteria.The sandstone arch can be dressed in any colour, seen here in white and pinks.

This area of the massive experience that was Storyeum certainly immersed the crowd in a West Coast feel.Vancouver AquariumWe worked with the Art Director of “DOUBT” which played at the Stanley Theatre in the fall of 2008 to create her vision of a gnarly neglected apple tree. The tree stood over 16 feet tall and was complimented by artificial groundcover.For this exterior patio, the client wanted to create a cozy, intimate setting by using large grass planters to cloak the windows. Custom steel planters were fabricated and painted to fit into the 12 specified sized spaces and the grasses received a UV treatment.This Pre-School was looking for a tree that the students could sit under to enjoy story time. They wanted to have the branches fairly bare so that they could hang their crafts and change them with the seasons. Budget was an issue here, so we used a pre-fabricated tree trunk instead of building brand new, which was more cost effective for the client.yvr-treesThe Vancouver Airport received 19 custom Vine Maple trees with a base garden treatment of ferns in planters chosen by the client. Greenscape built custom inserts for the trees and ferns and filled the planters on-site. We played games, guessing each employee from their baby picture. Benita was the big winner of the night, scoring the sweet prize of one night stay at the Sandman Hotel of her choice. As for Santa we helped him out by bringing gifts then had way too much fun stealing them from each other all night.

barbie-forestBuilt especially for this set, the 16’ tall vine maple tree seen here was used in an ING commercial. The tree had to be very realistic because close ups were done of a cat stuck in the tree. Real maple bark was used on the fabricated trunk and branches, along with artificial foliage. We even made a separate practice branch for the cat to walk on before hand.You may recognize the Royal Roads University in Victoria from the Xmen movie.
