
Corinne Kessel, Principal
As Greenscape’s new principal, Corinne is the driving force behind the company’s modernization and movement in a new direction: the integration of natural elements with modern motifs, bringing visually engaging pieces to industries that rely on bold new concepts and innovative décor pieces to complement their spaces or events.
Prior to taking on the role of principal at Greenscape, Corinne was promoted to Sales and Operations Manager after previously holding the title of Senior Design Consultant.
Her unique style and wealth of experience has ensured profitability and the provision of high quality products, imaginative designs and superior customer service with clients in diverse target markets, such as film and television, special events, and permanent thematic installations.
Corinne graduated from the University of Alberta with an MA and BMUS, and from the Royal Roads University Project Management Graduate Certificate program.
Corinne is a published author, a composer, performing artist and musician.
Recent clients include: Panther Management, Joey’s Restaurants, River Rock Casino, SCS International, Royal Columbia Hospital and Vancity.
Christine Cox, Creative Director
Coming from over 10 years of experience in interior, commercial, and tradeshow design, Christine has a rare blend of creative talent, confidence, superior interpersonal skills, and project management ability that makes her an ideal leader at Greenscape.
From the finite world of colours and textures to over-arching company goals, Christine is responsible for the complete design and development of the Wholesale Division of Greenscape Silk Design. In her role as Creative Director, Christine is responsible for the design approaches and business development strategies this division takes as it reaches out to new customers and markets.
Christine is utilizing her marketing skills to redesign the aesthetics as well as the functionality of Greenscape’s website and new promotional materials. Using her experience in trade show design, she also heads operations for all in-house showroom displays, as well as all domestic and international tradeshow layouts and designs. Her award winning design work can be seen in just about every display that goes out.
As can be seen above, Christine has strong influence in the creative direction, rebranding and the new design focus of Greenscape. Some say image is not everything, but she would be the first to disagree with you!
Amanda Marr, Design Consultant
As the youngest member of the Greenscape design team, Amanda brings fresh new ideas and a youthful, fashion forward approach to her designs. After spending a significant amount of time building orders in the warehouse, her extensive knowledge of Greenscape’s large inventory is invaluable to her clients.
Amanda continues to develop her skills and recently completed a wedding planning course. She is currently enrolled in a design-drawing course, and will be attending an event planning class and design class in January 2008. Amanda continues to help her clients design eye-catching décor for their weddings, special events, and film sets.
Recent clients include: Simon Cooksley, Oomph Events, ICBC, and DreamGroup Productions.
Colleen McNeil, Bookkeeper
Colleen has over 16 years experience in the office and accounting fields, which she enjoys thoroughly, much to some people’s amazement.
Colleen joined Greenscape in 2008 and has proven to be a wonderful addition to the team. She has diligently guided us through our major accounting software transition with a constant upbeat attitude and willingness to tackle anything we throw at her.
Some of her previous accounting positions were at Western Stevedoring, Red Cross Society, Salvation Army and In Balance Accounting Services.
She is an integral part of the Greenscape family!
Benita Marr, Rental Coordinator
Benita has been with Greenscape since 2004 as our lead on-site Decorator and Rental Warehouse Coordinator.
With her impeccable eye for detail and amazing sub-human strength, Benita has created some the most beautiful displays in Whistler, Victoria, Banff and the Lower Mainland. Previous projects include Cantrav Olympic Bid Projects, Kamloops Indian Band, and the Electronic Arts holiday display.
Benita comes from a business background and thrives on the spontaneity of this job. She brings a passion and confidence to the company that shows in her work and she treats customers like family. Benita has an interest in sales and wants to travel the world working on Greenscape projects. Her interests include holistic health, yoga, aromatherapy massage (which she is certified in) and a special passion for castles, castles and more castles.
Scott Spence, Production Coordinator
Scott has been a part of the Greenscape team since 2000, creating custom décor pieces, props and trees of all shapes and sizes.
In addition to fixing and building décor at Greenscape, with his Computer Science degree, Scott has been invaluable in keeping our computer systems operational. His other educational training includes WHMIS training (safety first!), Intro to Welding and Intro to Machining (Milling, Lathe & CNC) from BCIT.
As well as knowing every square inch of our inventory, you can always count on him to pull through, no matter what kind of pressing deadline he is faced with.
Recent clients include: River Rock Casino, Vancouver International Airport and Joey’s Restaurants.
Jethro Sweird, Production Coordinator Assistant
Jethro has been with Greenscape for since 2007 and everyday looks forward to working with such a positive team. With over 18 years of warehouse and custom furniture building experience, Jethro is a fountain of knowledge and enjoys designing and building whatever custom projects we can throw at him. In addition to ensuring the quality control and completion of production orders, Jethro is a whiz with shrink wrap, packaging, and warehouse layout. When he is not at Greenscape, Jethro can be seen performing with his reggae/ska band, Los Furios, spending time with his identical twin boys or playing full contact croquet with The Delta Triple Peels.
Parke Radgirrl, Rental Coordinator Assistant
Parke joined the Greenscape team in 2008, bringing with her over 5 years experience running her own business of a Vintage and Retro Collectables On-Line store. Parke has a great eye for display and design as well as awesome customer service. She is also a writer and an abstract artist; in her own words “I like to smash things for art’s sake!”
